Will Lopez

My name is Will Lopez and I am from Dyersville, Iowa and I am currently a senior at Iowa State University studying Finance. This past summer I interned at Nationwide as an Agribusiness Material Damage Claims intern. On campus, I am involved in the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, Multicultural Business Network, Finance club, and Latinx Student Initiatives. I also served as a peer mentor for the Multicultural Vision Program. Last winter, I also had the opportunity to study abroad at Korea University in Seoul, South Korea where I took a course in international business.

I was drawn to the insurance and finance industry because of their fundamental roles in providing stability and security to individuals and businesses. I find the analytical and problem-solving aspects of these fields intriguing, and I appreciate the opportunity to help people plan for their futures and protect their assets. I would like to thank the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame for their generous support and belief in my potential.
