Summer Internship Experience: This summer, I had the privilege of interning at United Fire Group (UFG) Insurance in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as a part of a rotational program within the Insure Your Future Program. My experience at UFG allowed me to gain knowledge in Internal Audit, Claims, and Corporate Finance. I conducted SOX audit testing, analyzed demand letters, prepared budget templates for the upcoming year, and assisted with developing KPI metrics for the Accounts Payable department. I am very grateful for my experience with UFG and the Insure Your Future Program this summer, and I feel very fortunate to have received this scholarship!
