Kaitlyn Elliott

Kaitlyn Elliott is a fourth-year student at the University of Iowa, originally from Tiffin, Iowa, and is expected to graduate in December with a major in Actuarial Science, a minor in Mathematics, and a certificate in Risk Management and Insurance. She has successfully passed three actuarial exams and is currently preparing for her fourth. On campus, she serves as Co-President of the Gamma Iota Sigma chapter, a professional business fraternity focused on actuarial science and risk management.

Through her pursuit of the Risk Management and Insurance Certificate, Kaitlyn has actively engaged with the Vaughan Institute, which has enhanced her knowledge of the insurance industry through case competitions and experiential coursework. The Vaughan Institute has also provided valuable networking opportunities with industry professionals, enabling her to secure a previous summer internship leading to a full-time position following graduation.
