Ashley Auderer

I grew up on a commercial sheep farm in Holy Cross, IA in Dubuque County. I am a third-year student pursuing a degree in Finance and Tippie’s new Risk Management & Insurance degree as well as a math minor. I am a member of Women in Business and Tippie Business Honor Society on campus and a math tutor at the Iowa City Public Library.

I became interested in the insurance industry after learning what a key role insurance plays in Iowa’s economy and the accompanying unlimited career growth potential. This past summer I worked at Cottingham & Butler in their Dubuque, IA office in the Quality Assurance department. I will be returning next summer as a Client Management intern in the Risk Management Division. I have much appreciation for the Iowa Insurance Hall of Fame and their generosity and look forward to emerging myself deeper into the insurance industry.
