Summer Internship Experience: This summer, I had the opportunity to intern at Sammons Financial Group in West Des Moines, Iowa, as an Actuarial Intern. My experience at Sammons allowed me to gain valuable insight into actuarial work within a corporate setting while strengthening both my technical and professional skills. I worked on projects involving data analysis, experience studies, and model validation, and I contributed to team deliverables that supported decision-making across the company. I am extremely grateful for the experience I had at Sammons, and I feel very fortunate to have received this scholarship that will support me as I continue pursuing my career goals.
